Guntis Bukalders: I was born in 1966 in Valmiera, Latvia. I started to attend Valmiera 4th Elementary School and from 1978 Valmiera Children School of Art. In 1981 I started my studies in Riga College of Applied Arts (RLMV), Design faculty. After graduation of RLMV I went to work as an artist to Vaidava culture club.
After the military service in 1991 I was interested to study Bible, so I started to attend Bible seminar, which was organised by local Valmiera Adventist church. I was baptised much later — in August 1992 in the forest lake Drižkins (Cēsis region). That was one of the most spectacular events in my life — summer morning, 8:00 o'clock, silent forest lake, water surface as flat as an ice, the bottom of the lake from the white sends, like in the sea!
After a year I was asked to work in the Baltic Union as an artist. I had to illustrate books, and took responsibility of the Director of Stewardship department. As years went by, my work has led me to the Communication Department and ADRA co-ordination in the Baltic Union. Along my duties in these departments I aleays have tried to do something in design: I design book covers, do book layouts, draw posters, broschoores, booklets, invitations, and of course, design home pages.
From 2001 – 2002 I was in England to finish my studies in theology, which I started in Riga way back in 1993. I studied in Newbold College (Newbold) which is 40 minutes drive South-West from London. You can take a look at my experience in Newbold in my family home page.
One of the latest projects with Āris Kundziņš and a dozen of other enthusiasts is Virtual Church. Sorry, this site is only in Latvian... :)

Āris Kundziņš [ario]: I was born in 1975 in Riga. After graduation of kindergarten, elementary and secondary schools I went to Riga Aviation University, where I wanted to study IT. But so it happened that I was there only for a short period of time. For different reasons I didn't study there for a long time and started to work as a graphics and page layout designer. I still work in this area, all necessary skills learning in the process of work.
In 2000 I started to learn web-programming (again self-tought) and, I think, successfully. Some good examples are Virtual Church — www.baznica.lv (I am also "spiritual" leader of this portal), www.reitingi.lv, www.yamaha.lv.
Since 2002 I am one of the Inforss Ltd. top managers — we are doing different advertisement, publishing and web projects. I like new projects and new challenges, therefore I took responsibility to publish one newspaper, and I have some other projects, but sorry, they are top secret! :-)
Yeah, this is Adventist home page, I am also memeber of this church more than 10 years.
